Booster Seat, Baby!

Well, Carly made the transition to her booster seat about two weeks ago. Yep, we left the trusted high chair behind. It's the end of another era.

It's the beginning of the New Booster Seat Adventures of Superstar Carly. She's already having a blast trying to figure out how to unbuckle. Well, she's already figured it out, she's just not strong enough yet. And of course, the place mat is full of entertainment potential. She loves tracing the polka dots with whatever food is on the menu for the day. Aaaah, toddler-dom. At least she's not flinging oatmeal anymore.

So now she wakes up and jumps into Mommy and Daddy's bed for a family snuggle, then after a few lazy morning minutes it's off to the potty. Then it's breakfast time on the booster seat. Once I made a mistake and started to put her into her high chair. Carly promptly reminded me that the high chair was SO LAST WEEK by shouting "No Daddy. Daddy may I please have the booster seat please?" Uh sure Sweetheart. Uh, I won't make that mistake again. Two years old going on 16. The future's so bright. And Carly's a superstar!
